- Hello Math is a Singapore Math program that is designed to be a supplemental resource for students who are struggling in math. It is a simplified program that focuses on the essential math concepts for grades 1-6. Hello Math is a good choice for students who need extra help with math or who want to catch up to their classmates.
So – which Singapore Math is best?
It depends on what fits you the best.
Primary Math US is the oldest program and has proven to be the effective for many parents. But sometimes parents feel that the program is too easy for their student.
If the program is too easy, then, the best suggestion would be Dimensions.
If Primary Math US is too confusing, then parents may want to look into Primary Math 2022 for its supplemental materials, Math in Focusfor its simplistic format and Math with Confidence for it’s use of manipulatives.
If someone is looking for a detailed teacher’s guide then Primary Math 2022 has a lot of supporting documents for homeschooling parents.
If you are looking for a video program then Dimensions has its own videos. Primary Mathematics US and 2022 are aligned with videos from Wonder Wisdom project and Math with Purpose although they cover Singapore Math by topic rather than by unit.
