It is helpful for students to provide any sample work to the tutor prior to the first session, at the end of the school year, or at the beginning of a school year. This can include material that they are currently working on, or items that they will be working on. Students who are receiving test prep, math or language arts help should provide test results or take a pre-assessment.

We recommend taking the test two grade levels below the current grade for remediation, and one grade level below for students who have never taken Singapore Math.
