Getting Started with our Math Program: The Math Gift
Looking for a way to help your child catch up and build confidence?
Our program does that.
Each level teaches your child the background knowledge needed to develop strong math skills.
How to get started with our math program.
We recommend starting with a placement test first. There are placement tests for grades 1-6.
If you have a child in grades three or below, start with levels 1 or 2. In other words, start with 1A, 1B, 2A, or 2B. It’s always easier to go up rather than down, and your child will be happy they passed the test. If you want to rebuild a foundation, then we recommend starting at 2nd grade.
Have paper and pencil for them to write down their work. At the end of the test, they will receive a score and information about how they did and what topics they need to work on.
Then, you can study by topic using free programs like Khan Academy or math-aids.com. You can also use our topic-specific worksheets or the entire workbooks for thorough practice and development. We also offer live online classes.
Free first and second-grade math programs.
Want to start for FREE? Sign up here. You can begin at the first or second level of our courses for free; if your child is in an upper grade, they will efficiently complete them and feel better about themselves.
The first two grades establish the tone of the coursework, and by rebuilding their foundation, students will find each grade level more straightforward to understand. Students are constantly learning thoughtful material that will help them at each future level.
